Lubna K. Jahangiri has been serving the business community of the San Francisco Bay Area since 2002. Attorney Jahangiri provides consultation and representation in a variety of transactional business and real property matters including:

Ms. Jahangiri earned her J.D. (Doctor of Jurisprudence) from Golden Gate University in 2001, from where she graduated at the top of her class. While at law school, Ms. Jahangiri earned the
CALI award for writing and research and two specialty certificates in Business and Real Estate law, respectively. She interned for the California Department of Justice- Health, Education and Welfare and went on to work for an insurance defense firm in San Francisco, but soon realized that her passion was to set up her own practice and to help business owners and real estate investors in the Bay Area. Ms. Jahangiri was a successful and well-connected solo practitioner before she joined Jahangiri Law Group, APC as a partner. Ms. Jahangiri served on the adjunct faculty of Golden Gate University, School of Law, and taught
Civil Litigation – Pretrial Phase.
Ms. Jahangiri conducts Continuing Legal Education classes for attorneys and has published articles in the
Business Law News of the California State Bar’s quarterly journal and local newspapers. She has served on the Women’s Section of the Contra Costa County Bar Association. She currently is on the Discovery Facilitator Committee of the Contra Costa County Superior Court.
Ms. Jahangiri holds a Masters in Psychology degree from Santa Clara University. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked in the field of mental health in various supervisory positions, including working as the Clinical Supervisor of
Thea Bowman House, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility for pregnant women and women with young children, under Catholic Charities. She was also the Program Director of Shelter Against Violent Environments in Fremont, a program for victims of domestic violence. She was instrumental in obtaining a grant from the State Department of Health and Human Affairs to start the first shelter for South Asian victims of domestic abuse in the Bay Area.
